Lovely cotton cushion cover. The large, stylized blossoms are in glowing Red against yellowish background. This expressive pattern was created using a jacquard weave. The inspiration for the fabric can be found in Renaissance weaves. At that time fabrics were woven in generous patterns and often served as wall hangings in churches and palaces.
